This policy explains how personal data is processed when you use usefulasfuck.com, which cookies and similar technologies are used, and what rights you have.

2. What data is processed
- Technical data: when you visit the site, your browser sends technical information such as IP address, browser type, device type, operating system and the time of your visit to the web host. This is necessary to deliver the website.
- Data stored in your browser: your work in the labs (palettes, font choices, brand settings, uploaded logos, photos and fonts) is stored locally in your browser. It is not sent to me and I have no access to it.
- Usage statistics: only if you consent, Google Analytics collects information about how the site is used, such as pages and labs visited, approximate location (country or city), device and browser type, and session length.
- Advertising data: when ads are shown and only if you consent, Google AdSense may use cookies to show and measure ads.
I do not ask for your name, email or other contact details, and the site has no user accounts.

4. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small text files stored on your device. Similar technologies, such as local storage and IndexedDB, work in a similar way. Necessary storage is always active. Everything else only runs if you consent in the cookie banner.

External fonts (with consent)
Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts (Google Ireland Ltd.), Adobe Fonts (Adobe Systems Software Ireland Ltd.) and Fontshare (Indian Type Foundry). They do not set cookies on this site, but they receive your IP address. Without consent, the site uses self-hosted fonts.
Advertising (with consent, when ads are active)
Google AdSense may set cookies such as __gads, __gpi and IDE to show and measure ads. Google shows its own consent message for this. Read more at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Change or withdraw your consent
You can withdraw or change your consent at any time. It is as easy as giving it.
5. Recipients and data processors

6. Transfers outside the EU
Google and Adobe may transfer data to the United States. Both are certified under the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which the European Commission has found to provide an adequate level of protection. Where other providers transfer data outside the EU, this is based on the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.
7. How long data is kept
Data stored in your browser stays there until you delete it. Google Analytics data is kept for 14 months. Web server logs are kept by the host for a limited period for security purposes.
8. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and to object to processing. Where processing is based on consent, you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting processing that took place before. To use your rights, contact me via the details above. Ad settings with Google can be managed at myadcenter.google.com.
9. Complaints
